Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through July 17.

Fraud

A 45-year-old female was the victim of Fraud – Wire/Computer/Atm on NW 30 Street was reported on: 07/11/2023. The total estimated loss was: $79,000.

A 32-year-old male was the victim of Fraud – Other on Lyons Road was reported on: 07/11/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,266.

A 45-year-old male was the victim of Fraud – Use Of Credit Card on Coconut Creek Parkway was reported on: 07/14/2023. The total estimated loss was: $761.

Elderly Abuse/Neglect

A victim of Elderly Abuse/Neglect was reported on: 07/12/2023.

Robbery – Unarmed Strongarm

A 35-year-old female was the Robbery – Unarmed Strongarm victim was reported on: 07/13/2023. The total estimated loss was: $600.

Theft – From Motor Vehicle

A 28-year-old male was the victim of Theft – From Motor Vehicle was reported on: 07/14/2023. The total estimated loss was: $400.

Vehicle Theft

A 62-year-old female was the victim of Vehicle Theft at Wynmoor was reported on: 07/15/2023. The total estimated loss was: $300. The key fob was left inside the vehicle.

A 44-year-old female was the victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Applewood III on Carambola Circle N was reported on: 07/16/2023.

Theft – Retail/Shoplifting

Home Depot was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7 was reported on: 07/14/2023. The total estimated loss was: $209.

Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories

A 49-year-old female was the victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories was reported on: 07/14/2023 at the Evergreen Apartments. The total estimated loss was: $500. An airbag was stolen from a Honda Civic by unknown subjects.

Theft – From Building

A 64-year-old female was the victim of Theft – From Building at Home Depot on N State Road 7 was reported on: 07/15/2023. The total estimated loss was: $525. A wallet was stolen from inside the store.

Arrests

Jacques, Joniero, Jonas, 32, was arrested on a Drive While License Suspended Third Or Subsq Offense charge at 3900 W Hillsboro Blvd on 07/11/2023.

Guerriera, Anthony, 59, was arrested on a charge of Driving While License Suspended/Cancelled/Revoked Third Or S at 5000 W Atlantic Blvd on
07/12/2023.

Peoples, Cameron, Quincy, 27, was arrested on a charge of Battery at 5561 Winston Park Blvd on 07/13/2023.

Pena, Marquis, Enver, 24, was arrested on a Fraud Illegal Use Of Credit Cards charge at 4670 State Road 7 on 07/13/2023.

Rudd, Rusty, Wade, 23, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic charge at 6242 N State Road 7 on 07/14/2023.

Jimmie, Monique, Ashley, 29, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Battery W/Deadly Weapon Domestic Violence at 6242 N State Road 7 on 07/14/2023.

Hernandezortez, Marvin, 20, was arrested on a Battery On Officer, Firefighter, Emt Etc. Charge at 3700 NW 11 Street on 07/16/2023.

Ortezdiaz, Natalia, Lisseth, 28, was arrested on a charge of Sell Give Serve Person Alcohol < 21 Yoa First Violation at 3700 NW 11 Street on 07/16/2023.
