Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through April 10.

Burglary – Residence

A 62-year-old male was the victim of a Burglary – Residence was reported on 04/04/2023. The total estimated loss was $3,700.

Theft – Retail/Shoplifting

Walgreens was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7, reported on 04/04/2023. The total estimated loss was $5,126. 

Sephora was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on Lyons Road was reported on 04/04/2023. The total estimated loss was $933.

Kohls was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7 was reported on 04/06/2023. The total estimated loss was $399.

Theft – From Motor Vehicle 

A 36-year-old male was the victim of a Theft – From Motor Vehicle on NW 55 Drive, reported on 04/04/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,101.

A 25-year-old male was the victim of the Theft – From Motor Vehicle reported on 04/04/2023. The total estimated loss was $170.

Indecent Exposure/Lewd Lascivious Act

A 37-year-old female was the victim of an Indecent Exposure/Lewd Lascivious Act at Mcdonald’s on N State Road 7, reported on 04/04/2023. A male exposed himself in the curbside pick-up area. 

Vehicle Theft – Auto

A 40-year-old female was the victim of a Vehicle Theft – Auto on W Hillsboro Blvd reported on 04/04/2023. 

A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto was reported on 04/07/2023.

Serious Bodily Injury

A victim of Serious Bodily Injury on W Copans Road/NW 42 Avenue. A traffic crash, vehicle versus pedestrian, was reported on 04/05/2023.

Aggravated Battery

A 34-year-old female was the victim of an Aggravated Battery reported on 04/05/2023 at the Windsor Apartments, where a 16YOA strangled the mother and left the scene.

Aggravated Assault

A 34-year-old female was the victim of an Aggravated Assault at Vista Verde. The husband and wife, in an altercation, both threatened each other with knives and was reported on 04/07/2023. 

Threat Assessment

Threat Assessment Report at Coconut Creek Elementary on NW 45 Avenue was reported on 04/06/2023. A 3rd-grade student threatened to hit another student with a chair.

Arrests

Pierre, Jeff Gary, 32, was arrested on a Counterfeiting Of Driver’s License charge at 4990 Coconut Creek Parkway on 04/07/2023.

Crossley, Anna Marie, 61, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery charge on 04/07/2023.

Merovee, James, 48, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 1st Offense at 2400 Lyons Road on 04/08/2023.

Heath, Teja Andrayah, 21, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Battery Cause Bodily Harm/Dating Violence at 1951 Lyons Road on 04/08/2023.
