The action-adventure comedy continues following Sonic eight months after defeating the villain Dr. Robotnik. While Sonic continues to keep the public safe, Dr. Robotnik returns with a new partner, Knuckles, and it is Sonic’s mission to save the day.

Directed by Jeff Fowler, the film stars Jim Carrey, Idris Elba, Natasha Rothwell, and James Marsden.

The event is on Friday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m. at Sabal Pines Park, at 5005 NW 39 Ave. Free kid’s activities will be available starting at 7 p.m., along with refreshments available for purchase.

All ages are welcome, but Coconut Creek does ask that residents bring blankets, chairs, and coolers while keeping pets at home.
