Rowe Community Center in Coconut Creek is inviting residents to a meet and greet with Poet Laureate Laura Matheric.
Matheric co-founded the Orange Island Arts Foundation and has worked with many nonprofit organizations, including Miami Book Fair International and Palm Beach Poetry Festival. She became a tenured Professor of English at Broward College in 2010.
Held on Thursday, February 2, starting at 6:30 P.M. The event is free to attend for all ages.
The Rowe Community Center is located at 900 NW 43rd Ave. Coconut Creek.
