The seasons turn from summer to spooky at an upcoming family-friendly Halloween event.
Coconut Creek is set to kick off the Halloween season with a “Pumpkin Carvin’ Good Time!” event designed for children aged 5 to 10. Pumpkin Carvin’ will take place on Thursday, October 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
Children accompanied by their parents or guardians can carve pumpkins and decorate trick-or-treat bags.
The event costs $20 for Coconut Creek residents and $30 for non-residents, payable by credit card only. All supplies are included in the registration fee.
Registration is ongoing until all spots are filled, but space is limited to just 10 participants, so early registration is encouraged.
Interested families can register online at www.CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.
