Several people were injured when two airboats crashed in Parkland Friday morning, authorities said.
Two people with serious injuries were being taken to the hospital as trauma patients after the crash, which happened in the water near the end of Loxahatchee Road around 11 a.m., said Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department Deputy Chief Mike Moser.
Another person suffered minor injuries, while a fourth declined transport to the hospital.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the crash.
