Paddle up, Coconut Creek— the city is serving up a brand-new Fixed Partners Pickleball League.
The outdoor pickleball league is designed for adults of all skill levels, from beginners to intermediates. It will feature eight regular-season games, followed by playoffs and a championship, with matches scheduled for Wednesday evenings from September 18 through December 11.
The league notes that no games will be held on October 2, October 23, and November 27.
All games will take place at the Community Center outdoor courts at 1100 Lyons Road, with match times set for 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.
Teams can consist of any two players, male, female, or co-ed, and must register as a team since there will be no individual registration.
The league will follow a fixed team round-robin format, allowing participants to play against various opponents, with a maximum of three games per night.
Registration is currently open and will remain available until all spots are filled. The cost is $45 per player for Coconut Creek residents and $55 for non-residents. Payments are accepted via credit card only.
Players must have a WebTrac account to register online at CoconutCreek.net/Webtrac, or they may register in person at the Community Center or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
