Mary Help of Christians School’s soccer team Panthers finished the season undefeated, with a final game against All Saints Catholic School team.

Part of the All Broward Catholic Conference, the team played the last game on their home field at Pine Trails Park before a large group of cheering parents and students.

The 7th and 8th-grade athletes played strong: Henry Phelps, Aiden Kanacheril, Emmanuela Ducatel, Frank Markovich, Santiago Ramirez, Evan Jones, Schuyler Selver, and Karina Martinez all scored goals for the Panthers.

Coach Shelby Walsh said the students showed dedication, hard work, leadership, and inspiration in the classroom and on the field.

“Their talents, personalities, and unique characters will all be missed in the coming seasons,” she added.

Walsh said the school coaches are proud of the students’ athletic accomplishments and the contributions that they have made to their team.

“We are so grateful for everything that they have given to Mary Help of Christians to show the glory of God through their love of the game,” she said.

Mary Help of Christians is a private Catholic School located in Parkland.
