Old-school fun comes to life for the youngest generation at an upcoming outdoor games event.
The City of Coconut Creek will host Old School Games in the Park on Tuesday, October 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lyons Creek Middle School outdoor basketball courts, located behind the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
Open to children ages 10 to 12, the outdoor games will feature activities such as capture of the flag, duck duck goose, four square, hopscotch, musical chairs, and red light green light.
Participation costs $5 for Coconut Creek residents and $10 for non-residents, payable by credit card only.
Registration is ongoing until the event is full, with space limited to 20 participants. Those interested can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.
