Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through April 18, 2022.

Auto Theft

Location redacted

On 04/13/2022, deputies contacted the victim in reference to his vehicle being stolen from his neighbor’s driveway by an unknown subject(s) without his permission. The car was unlocked with the key fob inside. Deputies did not observe any sign of forced entry. No additional victims or witnesses were located. Tot. Est. Loss: $25.

Godfrey Rd.

On 04/14/2022, the victim had his 2021 Lexus NX300 stolen from his driveway. The doors were left unlocked, and the keys were in the vehicle along with his wife and daughter’s purses. Tot. Est. Loss: $350.

Criminal Mischief

NW 98th Dr.

On 04/14/2022, deputies contacted all parties in a criminal mischief incident. The victim stated he did not wish to press charges but wanted the suspect trespassed. The victim and involved others came to a civil agreement. Waiver of prosecution signed, pictures taken, trespass warning issued.

Found Property

6710 Parkside Dr.

On 04/13/2022, a 9mm Luger shell casing was found on a sidewalk at the northeast corner outside Photo Studio Group. Casing collected.


N. University Dr.

On 04/15/2022, deputies responded to a custody dispute over a 9-year-old child. Both parents advised on Broward court procedures and how to obtain a custody agreement.

Property Damage

N. State Road 7

On 04/14/2022, one vehicle hit the rear of a second vehicle while inside a car wash.


Town Parc Cir N.

On 04/12/2022, a report was made about the inappropriate use of social media by a student. The incident did not take place at school.


Ascenzia, Anthony John, 32, was arrested on Touch Or Dom Viol charges on NW 77th Pl on 04/13/2022.

Johnson, Trent Marcel Kennith, 29, was arrested on charges of warrant/judge’s order on Carrington Ave. on 04/14/2022.
