On Sunday, the 8U Parkland Pokers baseball team was crowned winners of the Perfect Game Invitational in Coral Springs.
The Pokers started by playing two games for seeding, where the Pokers went 1-1. They then went on to win three games in bracket play, defeating X-Team, Palm Beach Prodigy, before beating the Coral Springs Clippers 1-0 to win the championship.
The team includes Cannon Allen, Levi Anderson, Valentino Bencosme, Landon Berger, Max Goldberg, Mason Kessel, Tyler Lasher, Isaiah Mejia, Noah Norwood, Christian Orozco, Jacob Pierre, Jonathan Pierre, Gio Ross, and James Tremont.
Next, the Pokers will be back in action at Terramar Park on Saturday, April 9, at 5:30 p.m.
