On May 19, the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2nd annual Chamber Classic golf tournament to help raise funds for future leaders in the community.
The tournament takes place at The County Club of Coral Springs, located at 10800 West Sample Road.
Golfers participating in the tournament can enjoy a day on the course and a post-event luncheon, but even better, a chance to win a 24-month lease for a Lexus, courtesy of JM Lexus, during its Hole-In-One contest.
Golfers must register by May 12 and arrive on event day by 7:00 a.m. After an hour of in-person registration and pairing, the event will start at 8:00 a.m.
Registration fees for a foursome group to participate in the tournament is $750, while individual golfers can register for $225.
According to Regional Chamber CEO Cindy Brief, the 2nd Annual Chamber Classic will have something for everyone, even those non-golfers just looking for a day out on the greens supporting local businesses.
“After last year, we are most looking forward to raising funds to assist future business leaders in our local high schools, as well as watching our members grow their business relationships in a fun-filled setting,” said Cindy Brief, Chamber president.
“There’s something for everyone to enjoy – even if you are not a golfer, you can join us for lunch,”
As part of the festivities, the Chamber says there will be a silent auction for all in attendance, not only golfers, and a lunch and awards reception for the players at 12:30 p.m.
There will also be Closest to the Pin & Longest Drive competitions, complimentary beer and food samplings from Tavolinos Della Notte, Pelican’s SnoBalls, and more.
Registration is available for foursomes, and some of the proceeds will benefit the CSCCR Chamber Education Foundation, which supports students of Coral Springs and Coconut Creek high schools.
