Outdoor dining continues to be popular to maintain social distance during the pandemic after scientists report indoor ventilation renders coronavirus more transmissible.
As in-person dining shutdowns were mandated across Broward County early in the pandemic, local restaurants have been making concessions in line with health guidelines to help them reopen and stay afloat — this includes adding or expanding outdoor dining space.
