Personal injury law firm Cutler Rader announces that one of its founding partners, Andrew Rader, has earned Board Certification in Civil Trial law by the Florida Bar.

Rader is part of an elite group of over 100,000 Florida attorneys; fewer than 1,000, or 1%, are Board Certified in Civil Trial law.

Rader is particularly proud because it is the only certification recognized by the Florida Bar and granted by the Florida Supreme Court.

“We’re extremely proud of him,” said Kenneth Cutler, partner, and co-founder of Cutler Rader. ”Andrew is an outstanding lawyer and an even better trial attorney, and this credential proves just that.”

According to the Florida Bar’s website, board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice. Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification helps consumers identify specialists in various areas of law.”

To earn Board Certification, Rader had to prove that he had significant trial experience. He demonstrated that he had tried cases in Miami, Palm Beach, and Broward counties, State and Federal courts, New York, Bronx, Rockland, and Orange counties in New York, and as a public defender in the South Bronx for ten years.

Andrew Rader has served his clients throughout Florida and New York for over 30 years in state and federal courts.

In 2013, Rader partnered with Cutler to co-found Cutler Rader, a leading South Florida personal injury and commercial litigation law firm focusing on serious car accidents, slip/trip, falls, catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, and business disputes.

Born and raised in Freeport, New York, Rader earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Binghamton University and a Juris Doctor degree cum laude from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.

He then became a public defender in the South Bronx and an AV-Rated civil trial lawyer who has won substantial recoveries for his many clients.

Passionate about giving back to the community, Rader sponsors and contributes to multiple charitable causes and sits on the Board of Trustees at Congregation Kol Tikvah.

He is married to Meryl Rome, MD, and has two grown children, Hannah, a Program Director in Denver, and Spencer, a West Point graduate who is now studying to be an electrician in northern Canada. He currently resides in Parkland.
