Dog of the Week: Lola is a Good Girl Who Gets Along Fine With Cats

This week, the Humane Society of Broward County has some wonderful pets to choose from. All adoptions include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, a microchip,  treatment for flea and ticks, and much more.

After having a home for the past four years, Lola’s owner decided they no longer have time for her.  Her ID is 657777), and she is five, good with cats, but selective about her dog friends.

Lola loves to be with people and get lots of pets.  She’s potty-trained and good with kids ages eight and up. Thanks to Dolly’s Dream her adoption fee is sponsored, and she gets to go home with goodies to help her settle in.

To meet her or any other pet, fill out the pre-adoption application on www.humanebroward.com and then stop by the Humane Society of Broward County.  The shelter opens daily at 11 a.m. and is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale. For questions call 954-989-3977 ext. 6.

Adoptions are $300 for puppies five months and younger, $150 for dogs six months and older, $100 for kittens five months and younger, and $40 for cats six months and older (Adopt one, get one free).
