Marjory Stoneman Douglas Girls Flag Football Sets School Record in Latest Win

After winning two games in 2021, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas flag football team surpassed that with their third win of the season.

On Wednesday, The Eagles defeated Coral Glades after their exciting 12-0 win on Senior Day against J.P. Taravella.  MSD honored their lone senior in Valerie Barcenas.

Quarterback Savannah Tenore went 7-19 with 97 yards. She also completed two passes to Sophia Dal Molin, including one for a touchdown. Morgan Goldman caught a pass for 30 yards and pulled seven flags. while Gabby Riskin, Barcenas and

Tenore also rushed for a touchdown and ran for 46 yards. Defensively, four players recorded at least two stops on defense in Rebecca Stember, Dal Molin, and Barcenas.
