After falling to Cypress Bay High School in the postseason last year, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas girls soccer team got their revenge with a 1-0 win Tuesday night.

The Eagles moved to 3-0 after picking up wins over Fort Lauderdale and Monarch High School.

Molly Conn scored the only in their last game on an assist from Grace Keane. Carly Brodsky and Ella Stevens each played a half to combine for the shutout.

“I was super proud of the fantastic team effort given in the game last night, said Head Coach Laura Rountree. “Cypress Bay is an excellent team, and we feel fortunate to have scored a goal in the last six minutes.”

Next, the Eagles will play Pembroke Pines Charter on Monday, November 29, at 7 p.m. They had a 6-0 victory over Coral Glades in their first game but lost 1-0 last year to the Eagles.
