What do you get when you combine coding, philosophy, and dermatology? A thriving South Florida economy.

The Parkland Chamber of Commerce has announced the grand opening of three new businesses – The Coder School in Coral Springs, OM Center for Wellness, and the Dermatology Experts.

Founded in Silicon Valley in 2014, The Coder School aims to be the go-to organization for teaching children programming. Once enrolled, students will develop their own custom applications, learn how to work in a team environment, and receive 2:1 coaching catered to the child’s needs all year round. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at 10633 Wiles Road, Coral Springs, FL 33065.

It’s no secret the last two years have been stressful. The OM Center for Wellness is coming to Parkland with the solution — a holistic, science-based wellness program designed to cleanse one’s body and soul. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Center will take place on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at 7375 N State Road 7, Parkland, FL 33067.

The Dermatology Group operates in Tamarac and Miami and will now serve Parkland residents. Their focus is to provide quality care, educate patients, and provide a comfortable setting for all clientele. Telehealth visits will also be available. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Dermatology Experts will take place on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at 7535 N State Road 7, Parkland, FL 33067.

The events are free, but they recommend registering online if planning to attend. To learn more about the Parkland Chamber of Commerce or become a member, please visit parklandchamber.org.
