State Rep Christine Hunschofsky has teamed up with me to embark on a District 95 Food Tour. Our first food stop was complete, and we had an excellent time at BRGR STOP in Coconut Creek.

The Food

The menu has all the staples you would look for in a higher-end burger joint: Beer, wine, shakes, burgers, sandwiches, fries, tater tots, onion rings, BBQ Pork, potato skins, and chicken selections.

We ordered several items, but I will discuss the ones I enjoyed the most.

Copperpoint Beer Cheese Triple Burger

The 34-ounce burger patties were stacked with four strips of candied bacon, Copperpoint amber lager, beer cheese, Lagunitas IPA Beer battered onion straws, bacon onion jam, and not-so-secret sauce, $18.95.

These burgers are right in line with Charm City Burger Company, which makes some of the best burgers in Broward County.

My Copperpoint Beer Triple Cheeseburger was outstanding. A picture doesnt even do this cheeseburger justice. What a beautiful site! All the cheesy goodness and sauce spilled over when I smushed it down. Lots of flavor in this bad boy. And its definitely a guilty pleasure.

Coconut Samoa Milkshake

A 20-ounce was $8.50, and a 32-ounce is $13.50.

The milkshake selection is a sight to behold. I am a huge Samoa Girl Scout Cookies fan, so ordering this was a no-brainer. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste was even better. I love whipped cream, and the top was covered with it. The coconut and caramel were prevalent, but I really didnt taste much chocolate.

While slurping up my delicious Samoa Cookie Shake, I couldnt help but think what a cool event it would be if Game Night in Coral Springs, Fl. and BRGR STOP had a Shake Off Battle. That would be fun.

Best Potato Skins In Broward County?

The Manager, David, said his potato skins were the best in Broward County. I think Leftys Bar and Grille in Coral Springs has the best, but theirs doesnt come with BBQ Pork. To compare them fairly, I got the BRGR STOP skins with the BBQ Pork on the side.

Their skins came out looking really good. Lots of diced bacon on top and covered in cheese like a good skin should. The potatoes were fresh and were fried nicely. The bacon is definitely the star of this show. Overall, they were good.

The only issues I had were the smaller size of the potato skins compared to Leftys, and all bacon made it a tad greasy.

In all fairness, BRGR STOP’s potato skins are usually served with BBQ Pork on top with sauce.  I changed it, which will affect the taste and presentation. With that said, Lefty’s still has the best potato skins, in my opinion.

I recommend you do your own taste test and see whose potato skins come out on top.

Verdict

The assortment of delicious burgers and unique shakes really separates this restaurant from many places.

State Representative Christine Hunschofsky loved the quality of the burger and the loaded tater tots. Both of us cant wait to go back.

Our next stop will be The Fish Joint, located at 4570 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Florida, on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. Hope to see you there! If anyone has any restaurant suggestions in Christines District, please let us know.

A big thank you to the Manager, David Nadolne, for coming up on his day off to meet us. Remember to tell them State Representative Christine Hunschofsky, Dan I Cook, and CoconutCreekTalk.com sent you and Stay Hungry!
