Coconut Creek Launches Girls Basketball League for Summer 2023

Coconut Creek is set to host a Girls Basketball League for ages 7 to 17, starting July 22 through September 30.

The league, which includes ten regular games and playoffs, will be divided into three age divisions: 10U, 13U, and 17U.

The league will offer skills and drills clinics to prepare the girls for the season on June 3 and 10. The draft/player evaluations will take place the week of June 12, with practices starting the week of June 20. Games will be held on Saturdays or Wednesdays, depending on the division, with no games on September 2nd and 16th.

Registration for the league opens on April  1 and will remain open through May 31 or until full. Registration costs $110 for Coconut Creek residents and $160 for non-residents, with credit card payments only (no cash or checks accepted).

The Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard will host the league’s practices and games. Volunteer coaches are needed, and interested parties are encouraged to email the league at CreekSportsGirlsBBall@coconutcreek.net.
