Parkland Crime Update: Stolen Necklace and Fraud

Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through Nov. 7, 2022.

Fraud

A person was the victim of Fraud on Hillsboro Blvd on 11/02/2022. The victim contacted the Broward Sheriff`s Office Parkland District to file a fraud report. 

A person was the victim of Fraud-All Other on Nw 81st Ter on 11/01/2022.

Trails End

On 11/03/2022, someone reported an offensive voicemail message left on a school phone line.

Loitering

A report of Loitering/Prowling was made on NW 77th Ct on 11/03/2022. A man was taken into custody for loitering and resisting. He has a lengthy arrest history, including charges of robbery, battery, fraud, and resisting.

Theft

Location Redacted

A person was the victim of theft on 11/03/2022. Her necklace was stolen.

Threat Assessment Report

A Threat Assessment Report was made on Nob Hill Rd on 11/03/2022. A student made an alleged threat toward a classmate. There was no threat. This case is unfounded.

Trespass

A Trespass Report was made on 11/02/2022 on S Parkland Bay Trail. The reporter alleged that seven unknown juveniles entered a newly constructed home with flashlights and were possibly breaking things inside.
