Parkland Crime Update: Aggravated Assault and Stolen Pistol

Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through February 28, 2022. 

Aggravated Assault

NW 71st St.

A person was the victim of aggravated assault on 02/24/2022.

Burglary Conveyance

NW 68th Ct.

On 02/26/2022, a 37-year-old male was the victim of Burglary Conveyance. His unlocked 2018 Ford F-250 was broken into and a Sig Sauer P938 9mm pistol was stolen from the center console.

Information

N. University Dr.

On 02/25/2022,  a man was found passed out in his vehicle in a parking lot. The vehicle was towed due to tire damage. The man was given a ride home by a friend.

Threat Assessment Report 

11010 Nob Hill Rd

On 02/22/2022, Heron Heights Elementary School reported that a third-grade student made a verbal threat toward another student after that student kicked him.

Arrest

Porro, Ernesto Antonio, 18, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on NW 71st St. on 02/24/2022.
