Parkland Crime Update: GPS Tracker Secretly Placed on Car

Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through April 11, 2022.

Battery

On 04/09/202, deputies responded to a physical altercation between a wife and husband.

Domestic Disturbance

NW 74th Dr.

On 04/08/2022, deputies responded in reference to a domestic violence incident. Contact was made with all parties later resulting in a person leaving for the night.

Information

NW 97th Dr.

On 04/06/2022, reporting person alleged that his juvenile son and friend were playing at a nearby basketball court when two other juveniles approached shooting at each other with Orbeez play guns. The reporting juveniles claimed to be struck by the projectiles of the play guns.

NW 111th Way

On 04/10/2022, a caller reported that an unknown person put a GPS tracker on his car. It is believed to be on the right side of the vehicle. Ping sound made. Unable to locate.

Missing Person

Solstice Cir.

On 04/09/2022, a 16-year-old male snuck out and refused to come home.

Property Damage

Town Parc Cir.

On 04/06/2022, a caller wanted to report property damage to her 2022 Cadillac Escalade caused by the guardhouse security gate.

Theft

On 04/09/2022, a circular saw was stolen from a business. Tot. Est. Loss: $229.
