Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a Family-Friendly Workshop in Coconut Creek

This year, Coconut Creek is hosting a delightful St. Patrick’s Day workshop for children aged 5 to 10, promising an afternoon filled with festive fun and creativity.

Scheduled for Friday, March 15, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., aims to kick off the St. Paddy’s Day celebrations in high spirits with a variety of activities tailored for young participants.

The workshop, set to take place at the Recreation Complex located at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard, invites kids to dive into the holiday spirit with an array of themed crafts, engaging games, and a scavenger hunt.

To add to the festive atmosphere, participants are encouraged to don their best St. Paddy’s Day attire, promising a colorful and spirited gathering.

In addition to the interactive activities, themed refreshments will be provided to energize the little ones throughout the event. With a mix of creativity, play, and snacks, the workshop is a perfect opportunity for kids to celebrate the holiday in a fun and safe environment.

The event costs $20 for Coconut Creek residents and $30 for non-residents. In keeping with current practices, payments can only be made via credit card, as cash and checks will not be accepted.

Registration for the St. Patrick’s Day workshop is now open but is limited to 15 participants to ensure a personalized and engaging experience for all attendees. Parents are encouraged to register their children as soon as possible to secure a spot.

Registrations can be made online through the CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac system or by walk-in at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road. Those new to the online registration system must set up a WebTrac account before registering, and assistance for account setup is available by contacting the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580.
