A pair of Coconut Creek High School teams won District Championships, while three teams are headed to Regionals.
The Coconut Creek boys soccer team won the District Championship after a dominant run, outscoring their opponents 5-0 in their two games. The Cougars earned the top spot in the postseason and had a bye in the opening round before a 2-0 win over Plantation High School.
Clevince Joseph and Ryan Paulime each scored goals before they recorded a 3-0 win against Dr. Joaquin Garcia High School in the finals. Paulime, Dahaaun Samuels, and Dienuardo Milord scored goals to help Coconut Creek win their 14th game and head to Regionals.
The Cougars are the second seed and will play Archbishop McCarthy High School in the opening round on Tuesday, February 4, at 67 p.m. The Mavericks went 4-7-3 this year and lost to Pembroke Pines Charter in the District Tournament. The winner of this game will play either North Miami or Varela High School, while Pembroke Pines Charter is the top seed and qualified, along with Sebastian River, South Fork, and Jensen Beach High School.
The Monarch boys soccer team had only eight wins in the regular season but recorded three wins in the District Tournament after being seeded fifth. The Knights knocked out Coral Springs High School 2-0 in their opening game behind a pair of goals from Luca Lopez. The Knights then played top-seeded Fort Lauderdale High School in the semifinals and won 2-1, with Tony Dom Santos and Gabe Lana finding the back of the net.

The Knights are seeded eighth and will play South Broward High School in the opening round of Regionals on Tuesday, February 4, at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs are 18-1 this year and had their only loss this year come against Boca Raton Community High School.
They also rank sixth in Florida and 10th nationally, while the winner of this game will play either St. Thomas Aquinas or Dwyer High School. Olympic Heights, Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach, and Braddock High School also qualified.
The Monarch High School girls soccer team won 8-0 over Boyd H. Anderson High School before falling in penalty kicks in the final against Fort Lauderdale High School. The game was tied at one heading into the shootout, and the Knights lost 4-2. However, they were left out of Regionals after finishing the season 9-7-3.
The North Broward Prep girls soccer team also reached the final but fell 4-1 against top-seeded Somerset Academy Canyons. They had a bye in the opening round before winning 5-2 over American Heritage High School. Jaysa Palumbo and Sumayahh Brown each had two goals, while Isabella Cancelier had one. Brown also had two assists, while Palumbo, Forcione, and Ella Munoz all had an assist. However, NBP will play in Regionals against Oasis High School in the opening on Tuesday, February 11 at 7 p.m.
The North Broward Prep boys soccer team was seeded third and had a bye in the opening round before losing to Somerset Academy Canyons 3-2. The Eagles, though, qualified for Regionals and will also play Oasis High School in their first game on Tuesday, February 11, at 7 p.m. T
