Get ready to savor the finger-licking goodness of South Florida’s finest chicken wings.
The 7th Annual Doc Reno’s WingsFest takes place on Father’s Day weekend, Saturday, June 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Margate Sports Complex at 1695 Banks Road.
Hosted by Doc Reno of Big 105.9 and IHeartRadio, the free-to-enter Father’s Day celebration event brings together local restaurants and food trucks in a fierce competition to determine who reigns supreme as the home of South Florida’s best chicken wings.
Attendees can look forward to a day of fun-filled, family-approved activities, including music from local bands, including Mr. Nice Guy, Good Bread, Abria, and up-and-coming talent from the School of Rock.
WingsFest also promises an assortment of kid’s activities that will keep little ones entertained while Dad indulges himself in a vast offering of wings and beer.
Arts and crafts vendors will also be on hand to showcase their unique creations. For those seeking to acquire valuable memorabilia, a silent auction will take place, offering a chance to bid on exclusive items.
Food trucks will be on-site, offering a wide variety of food options from around the world for those who want something other than wings.
A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the My Family Matters Foundation in collaboration with Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital Foundation.
