Westglades Middle School girls basketball team has had an outstanding season and heads into the postseason with a perfect 8-0 record.
They have outscored their opponents 311-43 in their eight games led by Head Coach Marc Kiar and Assistant Coach Andrea Keery.
“Unity is strength. When there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved,” said Coach Kiar.
The team consists of 15 girls in Laura Gruber, Ke’Nya Clark, Ava Schwartz, Sadie Titensor, Carissa Marvel, Rylie Brown, Mickayla Sugrano, Gianna McGinty, Madelyn Feldman, Isabelle Feldman, Elisabeth Garzon, Elayna Garzon, Audrey Haltiwanger, Audriana Lima, and Courtney Heymach.
Westglades is set for their first playoff game at home on November 30 at 4:45 p.m. against Blair Middle School.
