In a tribute to the nation’s heroes, the City of Coconut Creek is hosting its Annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Saturday, November 11, a day of deep reflection and appreciation for the military service members who valiantly served the country.
The City’s Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to attend the ceremony scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Veterans Park at 3550 Lyons Road.
Dignitaries and guest speakers are slated to pay homage to the veterans, sharing stories of heroism and the importance of remembering our nation’s history.
The Coconut Creek Police Department Honor Guard will present the colors, while the Monarch High Jr. R.O.T.C. will also play a significant role in the proceedings.
In case of rain, the ceremony will move to the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
