Families in Coconut Creek are in for a treat as the city announces its latest “Movie in the Park” event, featuring a free screening of “Minions – The Rise of Gru.”
The 2022 animated movie is about an eleven-year-old Gru who dreams of becoming a supervillain, assisted by the Minions he hired to work for him.
Held at Sabal Pines Park on Saturday, March 30, 2024
The event starts with free kids’ crafts, with the main attraction at 8:00 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets, chairs, and coolers to enhance their movie-watching experience. However, per the park’s regulations, pets are prohibited at the event.
This event is free to attend, and no registration is required, making it an ideal outing for families looking for an enjoyable evening without the added expense.
