Arts for the Future Scholarship winners {Ian Ibbetson.}
The Arts for the Future Scholarship Fund marked its 25th year by awarding $1,000 scholarships to 29 high school seniors from 16 Broward County Public Schools.
These scholarships support the students’ continued studies in visual, performing, and technical arts at various colleges, universities, and educational training institutions.
The scholarships were presented at the annual Stars on Parade event at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The event featured ensemble and solo performances in dance, music, and theater by students from across the county.
The Arts for the Future Scholarship Fund is a result of the partnership between the Broward Center and Broward County Public Schools. It is funded by the Amaturo Family Foundation and the Broward Education Foundation.
Culinary students from Atlantic and Sheridan Technical Colleges catered a pre-show reception for the scholarship winners and their families.
