The City of Coconut Creek offers a unique opportunity for adults with special needs to participate in a pickleball clinic.
This outdoor clinic will focus on teaching the rules and fundamentals of pickleball, and it is open to individuals of all experience levels.
Starting Saturday, January 4, the clinic will run through January 25, with sessions scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. each week.
The clinic is designed for participants aged 18 and older and will be held at the Coconut Creek Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road. The cost is $10 for Coconut Creek residents and $15 for non-residents, with payment accepted via credit card only.
Participants must meet specific criteria, including independent bathroom skills, the ability to follow basic instructions, and the capacity to engage in a group setting. If participants cannot meet these criteria, they are required to provide an assistant for supervision.
The clinic has a limited capacity of 30 participants, so registration is encouraged as soon as possible. Registration is available online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or by visiting the Community Center or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
