City Secures Long-Term Maintenance Commitments for Improvements at Hillsboro Marketplace and Cocomar Sites

Coconut Creek Prepares for Major Police Headquarters Expansion, Hurricane-Resilient Upgrades

In Coconut Creek, residents will see improvements along West Hillsboro Boulevard right-of-way.

During the November 13 meeting, the commission passed a resolution to execute a maintenance agreement between the city and Hillsboro Marketplace Investments. This agreement transfers responsibilities for the maintenance of sidewalks, landscaping, and other improvements in the right-of-way adjacent to the property at the northeast corner of the intersection of Lyons Road known as the Hillsboro Marketplace Development project.

Also, the commission approved a resolution approving a maintenance agreement between the city and the Cocomar property owner, which assigns maintenance of sidewalks, landscaping, and other improvements in the West Atlantic Boulevard right-of-way adjacent to the property located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Lyons Road, known as the Greystar Cocomar development project.

There was no discussion among the commissioners on these resolutions.
