
Touch a Truck event {City of Coconut Creek}
Children who have always wanted to sit in a fire truck or public works vehicle will soon be able to do so.
Coconut Creek will offer Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Butterfly parking lot at 5280 NW 40th Street.
Visitors can see various trucks and vehicles that play an important role in Coconut Creek.
During Touch-A-Truck, residents can climb aboard the trucks and explore them safely. According to city information, children and adults can ask city personnel questions about the trucks and learn how the machines actually work.
Also, for the first hour of the event, the atmosphere will be sensory-friendly without loud horns or sounds so everyone can enjoy the experience in a calm environment, according to city information.
