Coconut Creek Community Center {Coconut Creek}
The City of Coconut Creek and the Seminole Coconut Creek Education Foundation are teaming up to offer a free series of classes to help residents, students, and educators better understand artificial intelligence.
The introductory classes will explore what AI is, how it can be used effectively and safely, and how the technology can be applied to education, everyday life and career development.
The program comes as artificial intelligence continues to change the workplace, education and daily life.
Dr. Randy Cross, director of the Center for Public Service at Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship, will present the information during the series.
Classes will be held Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. from Sept. 15 through Oct. 20 at the Coconut Creek Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road.
The classes are available at no cost to Coconut Creek residents, students attending public schools in the city and children of City of Coconut Creek employees.
