Four men were taken into custody after Coconut Creek Police said they carried out a coordinated robbery at a brand new Burlington store, fleeing with thousands of dollars in merchandise before officers captured them.
According to Coconut Creek Police Department arrest reports, the group, later identified as Nikell Etienne, 22, of North Miami Beach, Eroid Esperance, 27, of Miami, Joanel Beaucejour, 20, of North Miami, and Adrion Hall, 22, of Miami, entered the Burlington at 4847 Coconut Creek Parkway on November 24 and selected a large amount of merchandise before dashing to an emergency exit, opening the door, and fleeing the store.

Police said surveillance footage and witness statements described the incident as a coordinated effort by multiple suspects working in tandem. According to arrest reports, the total value of merchandise taken was $3,563.72.
Officers responding to the store reportedly encountered the suspects running through the parking lot, dropping clothing and other items as they were ordered to stop.
The report says officers saw the group split up and run in different directions before a perimeter was established. Officers locked down the area, and eventually all four identified suspects were caught shortly afterward. A fifth male suspect was also detained at the scene, although that individual’s identity had not yet been confirmed.
All four men were arrested and charged with grand theft and resisting an officer without violence. They were transported to the Broward County Main Jail.
