Theft & Property Crimes
- March 3 – A vehicle burglary was reported at Wynmoor (1300 Avenue of the Stars) between 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
- March 4 – A stolen vehicle was recovered following an LPR hit at NW 45th Ave & Coconut Creek Pkwy. Arrests were made.
- March 4 – A retail theft occurred at Walmart (5571 SR 810), with a reported loss of $242. One female suspect was released on a Notice to Appear (NTA).
- March 5 – A shoplifting incident at Publix (5365 Lyons Rd) resulted in a total loss of $322.
- March 5 – A counterfeit tag and registration were found during a traffic stop at 3600 W Sample Rd, leading to an arrest.
- March 6 – A retail theft at Walgreens (6390 N State Road 7) involved three suspects stealing baby formula, totaling $767 in losses.
- March 8 – A theft at Kohl’s (6950 N State Road 7) resulted in $577 in stolen merchandise.
- March 8 – A phone was stolen from a men’s restroom at a business on 700 Lyons Rd, valued at $700.
- March 9 – A 66-year-old male was found deceased under suspicious circumstances at Country Club Lakes (5640 NW 74th Pl).
- March 9 – A delayed shoplifting report was filed for Walmart (5571 W Hillsboro Blvd), with a $54 loss.
Traffic & DUI Arrests
- March 4 – A tag seizure was conducted at 4200 W Copans Rd.
- March 5 – Carlos Adrian Perezuseche, 36, was arrested for DUI (First Offense) at 5000 W Hillsboro Blvd.
- March 6 – A traffic stop at 4000 W Sample Rd resulted in an arrest for fleeing/eluding law enforcement.
- March 9 – A traffic stop at Lyons Rd & Coconut Creek Pkwy led to a tag seizure.
Disturbances & Assaults
- March 4 – A second-grade student at Tradewinds Elementary made a threat to kill another student after an argument on the school bus.
- March 5 – A kindergarten student at Coconut Creek Elementary physically struck the school resource officer, principal, assistant principal, and a teacher.
- March 6 – An altercation at Coconut Creek Plaza (4967 Coconut Creek Pkwy) resulted in a battery complaint; however, conflicting stories were reported with no independent witnesses.
- March 7 – An aggravated battery was reported at Duffy’s (4800 SR 810), leading to an arrest.
- March 8 – A verbal altercation between homeless individuals was reported at Vista Verde (4752 W Atlantic Blvd).
- March 9 – A domestic disturbance involving mutual combatants was reported at 4561 NW 52nd St.
Missing Persons & Mental Health Incidents
- March 4 – A juvenile was reported missing but later recovered.
- March 6 – A Baker Act was issued for a female student at Coconut Creek High School.
- March 6 – Another Baker Act was issued for an individual at Wynmoor (2001 Granada Dr).
- March 8 – A juvenile was placed under the Baker Act following an incident at a private residence.
- March 9 – A white male was placed under the Baker Act at Karanda Village VI (3571 NW 35th St).
Animal Incidents
- March 5 – A Muscovy duck in distress at Trails of Willow Bend (5595 NW 41st Ter) was humanely euthanized.
- March 6 – A deceased cat was found in the roadway at NW 42nd Ave & Sample Rd.
- March 8 – A dog-on-dog attack occurred at Sable Pines Park (5005 NW 39th Ave).
Arrests
- March 4 – Two juveniles (both 16-year-old males) were arrested for grand theft auto at 4300 NW 10th St.
- March 4 – Joseph Adisson Augustin, 18, and Aidan Bienaime, 20, were arrested for resisting an officer without violence at 4130 NW 9th Ct.
- March 4 – Patricia Delimadasilva, 34, was arrested for petit theft (first offense) at Walmart (5571 SR 810).
- March 5 – Crystal Lucia Infante, 21, was arrested for domestic battery at Karanda III (3761 Cocoplum Cir).
- March 6 – Alejandro Garciaresendiz, 36, was arrested for possessing counterfeit tags at 4000 W Sample Rd.
- March 7 – Edward Joseph McFall, 49, was arrested for aggravated battery at Duffy’s (4800 SR 810).
- March 9 – Caron James Jackson, 32, was arrested for trespassing in an unoccupied structure at 5300 W Hillsboro Blvd.
