Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through January 1, 2024.
Theft
A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories at Windsor on Lyons Road on 12/27/2023. The total estimated loss was $4,000. A Catalytic Converter Theft from a 2018 Toyota Tacoma was reported.
A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto on 12/31/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,693. The vehicle was stolen overnight.
A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories at Cypress Shores on Lyons Road on 12/27/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,600.
A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Karanda Village I on Cocoplum Circle on 12/31/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,602.
A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories at Karanda Village V on NW 47 Avenue on 12/28/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,200. Theft of catalytic converters was reported.
A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories at Riviera Palms on Lyons Road on 12/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,000. A Toyota Tacoma catalytic converter was stolen.
360 Service Provider Ll was a Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories victim at Riviera Palms on Lyons Road on 12/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,000. A catalytic converter theft was reported.
A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories on 12/28/2023. The total estimated loss was $800.
A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Pond Apple Place II on NW 20 Street on 12/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $500. A White 2019 Dodge Challenger was broken into, and a radio was stolen.
Fraud
A victim of Fraud – Impersonation on N State Road 7 on 12/27/2023. The total estimated loss was $600.
Indecent Exposure/Lewd Lascivious
A victim of Indecent Exposure/Lewd Lascivious Act at Winston Park Plaza on Lyons Road on 12/27/2023. An unknown male was reported for Indecent Exposure In A Vehicle.
Sexual Conduct On A Victim
Police Assist-other Agency on 12/28/2023. DCF Investigation/Allegations of sexual conduct on a victim with special needs were reported.
Aggravated Assault
A victim of Aggravated Assault at Banyan Trails on Woodfield Court on 12/30/2023. The subject threatened the victim with an unloaded plastic airsoft gun.
Arrests
Sanchez, Melissa D., 54, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence at 4981 NW 6 Street on 12/26/2023.
Ndirangu, Kevin, Robert, 42, was arrested on a charge of Domestic Battery By Strangulation at 3601 W Hillsboro Blvd on 12/27/2023.
Kurtz, Ronald, and Steven, 58, were arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence at 4808 Coconut Creek Parkway on 12/27/2023.
Cramer, Garrett, John, 38, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 2 Offense at 4800 Lyons Road on 12/29/2023.
Rosetti, Richard, Otto, 41, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence at 6800 NW 39 Avenue on 12/30/2023.
