Fraud
Midflorida Credit Union was the victim of Fraud—use Of Credit Card/ATM card at 4809 Coconut Creek Parkway, which was reported on 06/25/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,810. Several customers reported fraudulent transactions made on their accounts from the Chase ATM.
A victim of Fraud—Identity Theft on Cocoplum Circle was reported on 06/26/2024. Someone opened an AT&T account under the victim’s name.
Theft
A victim of Theft – From a Building at Public Storage at 5479 Wiles Road was reported on 06/28/2024. The total estimated loss was $6,000. A unit was burglarized.
A victim of Vehicle Theft—auto at Regency Lakes on Swans Lane was reported on 06/29/2024. The total estimated loss was $3,020. A Black Mazda CX9 was reported stolen.
A victim of Theft—All Other at Coco Bay on NW 62 Street was reported on 06/25/2024. The total estimated loss was $900. A stolen Segway was also reported.
The Hook-Up Smoke and Skate Shop was the victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 6738 N State Road 7, which was reported on 06/28/2024. The total estimated loss was $737.
Sephora was the victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 4455 Lyons Road, which was reported on 06/29/2024. The total estimated loss was $530.
Kohls was the victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 6950 N State Road 7, which was reported on 06/26/2024. The total estimated loss was $404.
Walmart was the victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 5571 Hillsboro Blvd, which was reported on 06/26/2024. The total estimated loss was $383.
Daves Liquor was the victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 4420 W Hillsboro Blvd, which was reported on 06/27/2024. The total estimated loss was $269.
Home Depot was the victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 4450 N State Road 7, which was reported on 06/25/2024. The total estimated loss was $144.
A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Coconut Palm Club on NW 55 Blvd was reported on 06/26/2024.
A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Golden Raintree II on NW 45th Avenue was reported on 06/27/2024.
Battery
A victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike at Banyan Bay on W Atlantic Blvd was reported on 06/25/2024.
Suspicious Incident
A victim of a Suspicious Incident at Sherwin Williams at 4171 W Hillsboro Blvd was reported on 06/27/2024. A customer brandished a firearm.
Burglary
A victim of Burglary W/ Assault at Vista Verda on W Atlantic Blvd was reported on 06/27/2024.
Arrests
Smith, Derrick Lee, 49, was arrested on a charge of Petit Theft 1 Degree Property $100 To <$750 (M), at 4450 N State Road 7 on 06/25/2024.
Akhmedyanov, Radik Khalyafovich, 61, was arrested on a charge of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting at 5571 Hillsboro Blvd on 06/25/2024.
Rodriguezmartinez, Emmanuel, 35, was arrested on 06/26/2024 on a charge of Theft—retail/Shoplifting at 5571 Hillsboro Blvd.
Frazier, Derek, 22, was arrested on a charge of Attempted Kidnapping at 405 Sunshine Drive on 06/26/2024.
Woodward, John Weston, 35, was arrested on a charge of Burglary/Assault Or Battery at 4764 W Atlantic Blvd on 06/27/2024.
