The City of Coconut Creek has announced its upcoming Senior Expo, an event that connects seniors and their families with valuable resources, programs, and services.
The free event, scheduled for Friday, June 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will take place at the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road. While the expo is primarily geared toward individuals aged 55 and older, the entire family is welcome to attend.
Attendees will have access to various vendors offering information and support tailored to the needs of seniors and their caregivers. Free medical screenings will be available throughout the morning, and complimentary coffee and tea will be served to guests.
The event will also feature several scheduled activities aimed at promoting both mental and physical wellness. A Brain & Body Workout session will take place from 10:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a Scattergories game from 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. To cap off the event, attendees are invited to participate in a lively Just Dance and group karaoke session from 11:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
For those interested in participating as a vendor, additional information can be obtained by emailing CreekSeniorExpo@coconutcreek.net.
