THEFT & PROPERTY CRIMES
Vehicle Theft
July 15: A vehicle was reported stolen overnight from 5025 Wiles Rd at Evergreen Apartments. Estimated loss: $150.
July 16: A vehicle was stolen from Applewood Village 2 between 4:30 p.m. and 6:50 a.m. at 2766 Carambola Cir S.
Burglary – Business
July 20: Coconut Creek High School (1400 NW 44th Ave) was burglarized. A male suspect was arrested and transferred to BSO Main Jail.
Theft – From Building
July 16: Firestone Tire at 6350 N State Rd 7 reported the theft of $875 worth of property.
Tag/Decal Theft
July 16: A Florida tag was reported lost or stolen from a vehicle at 4101 W Sample Rd.
Fraud & Identity Theft
July 16: Identity theft was reported by a resident at 5449 NW 50th Ct.
Attempted Vehicle Theft
July 16: A delayed report of an attempted vehicle theft involving a Dodge Charger Daytona was filed from 4511 W Atlantic Blvd.
Lost/Stolen Property
July 20: Property reported lost or stolen at Key Foods, 4291 SR 810.
Property Damage
Two separate reports filed from NW 54th St on July 14.
NARCOTICS, DUI, & OBSTRUCTION
DUI Arrests
July 15: A suspect was arrested at 5400 W Sample Rd following a DUI traffic stop.
July 19: A traffic stop at 4800 Wiles Rd led to a DUI and felony narcotics arrest.
Drug Possession Arrests
July 15: A driver was arrested for possession of oxycodone and marijuana at 1100 NW 43rd Ave.
July 19: A male suspect was arrested for possession of cocaine and methamphetamine following a traffic crash at 3900 Coconut Creek Pkwy.
Obstruction of Justice
July 16: A habitual traffic offender with multiple warrants was arrested during a stop at 4000 Lyons Rd.
VIOLENT & DOMESTIC INCIDENTS
Aggravated Assault
July 19: A domestic disturbance at Casa Palma (6232 N State Rd 7) resulted in charges against a male suspect who fled the scene.
Battery – Domestic and Simple Assaults
July 19–20: Multiple simple battery reports were filed across the city, including at Lyons Rd, Winston Park Blvd N, and Millstream Ln.
A male suspect was arrested on July 20 for domestic battery by strangulation at 3201 Lyons Rd.
July 20: A battery incident at 460 Millstream Lane also involved child abuse allegations.
Violation of Court Order
July 19: A restraining order violation was reported at 5521 Winston Park Blvd N.
MISSING & ENDANGERED PERSONS
Missing Juvenile
July 20: A juvenile was reported missing from Windsor Coconut Creek.
Baker Acts
July 15–20: Several individuals were taken into protective custody under the Baker Act from locations including Lyons Rd, Cocoplum Cir, and Sprouts on Lyons Rd.
VEHICLE-RELATED & TRAFFIC OFFENSES
Fleeing & Eluding
July 16–18: Three separate incidents where suspects fled traffic stops occurred at Cocoplum/Lyons Rd, 6100 Lyons Rd, and 5500 Johnson Rd.
Traffic Incidents
July 16: A vehicle was towed for a seized tag at 4499 Lyons Rd/Wiles Rd.
July 18: A traffic stop involving a stolen U-Haul vehicle and fictitious licenses occurred at 5000 W Sample Rd. Suspect was transferred to BSO Main Jail.
OTHER INCIDENTS
Natural Deaths
July 15: Reported at 1705 Andros Isle.
July 16: Reported at 2304 Lucaya Ln.
Suspicious Incidents, Fraud Attempts & Police Assists
Multiple reports throughout the week included attempted fraud, third-party suicide threats, and agency assists, including one involving child abuse allegations.
Arson
July 15: A vehicle fire occurred near 4199 W Sample Rd/NW 42nd Ave.
Injured Person
July 17: An arborist was injured at Tallowwood MHP, 6534 NW 34th Ave.
