
Salsa in September 2024 {City of Coconut Creek}
The city of Coconut Creek will host its annual Salsa in September concert on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the City Hall courtyard, 4800 W. Copans Road.
The free, family-friendly event is part of the city’s Homegrown Concert Series and will feature live music, dance lessons, and a celebration of Latin culture.
At 6 p.m., Melendrez Dance Studios will offer beginner-friendly salsa lessons to get attendees moving. The concert begins at 7 p.m. with live performances by Sabor Latino, a Fort Lauderdale-based band known for its energetic salsa rhythms and tributes to legends including La Fania All Stars, Mongo Santamaria, Hector Lavoe, and Willie Colón.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and coolers. Pets are not permitted.

The Homegrown Concert Series runs from September through May and highlights free outdoor performances to bring residents together through music and culture.
