Three hooded figures were captured by security cameras looking for unlocked cars on November 3 in a Parkland neighborhood and Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
One victim’s security video from that night shows the three males at approximately 12:49 a.m. as they walked from N.W. 72nd Place toward the victim’s home in Parkland Reserve. One of the subjects used the sleeve of his sweatshirt to cover his hand prior to opening the victim’s passenger side door. The thief entered the car and began to rummage through the front of the vehicle.
The other two subjects were captured on surveillance as they tried to open several other cars parked on the same street. Deputies believe there may be more victims.
Anyone with information is asked to contact BSO Det. Brian Goolsby at 954-509-1457 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or browardcrimestoppers.org. Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
