One person is dead and another in critical condition after being struck by lighting in Parkland.
According to Division Chief Michael Moser with the Coral Springs Parkland Fire Department, they received a call at 2:08 p.m. that two people were struck by lighting at Hendrix Farms located at 12210 Loxahatchee Rd.
When paramedics arrived on the scene, one patient was deceased and one was injured. Due to the weather condition, they were unable to airlift them out. The victim is now at Broward health Medical Center North in critical condition.
The names are being held until further notice.
