Make Our Schools Safe hopes to raise $100,000 with their First Annual Golf Classic on September 17.
Lori Alhadeff, the founder of the Parkland-based nonprofit, said Make Our Schools Safe does its best to bring everyone together in any capacity possible.
“Whether it’s on the golf course, tennis court, or in a ballroom, it’s about the community working together,” she said.
The event is an opportunity to relax, play golf, eat, drink, and spend time with friends while raising funds to advocate for Alyssa’s Law nationally and support Make Our Schools Safe Clubs.
With limited space, only a few tickets remain for the After-Tournament Dinner and Prom Party, but there are also sponsorship opportunities and a chance to win a $7,500 golf cart.
Alhadeff met the owners of The Cart Collection at the Parkland Farmers Market, and they offered to donate the Advanced EV Golf Cart for the raffle.
“Their generosity has been overwhelming,” she said.
Enter the raffle here, and the winner will be announced at the tournament, which takes place on September 17, at 9:00 a.m. at the Parkland Golf And Country Club. Purchase tickets to the event here.
