The Miami HEAT Charitable Fund and BankUnited are inviting South Florida high school seniors to apply for one of five $5,000 scholarships to be awarded.
A total of $25,000 will be given to the five students who demonstrate academic excellence and an outstanding record of community service.
They will also be recognized at an upcoming Miami HEAT game.
Eligible students must be currently attending school in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County and planning to enroll in a four-year accredited college. Applications must be submitted by Saturday, January 28, 2023.
The scholarships available include three $5,000 HEAT Scholarships, one $5,000 Dr. Jack Ramsay Scholarship, and one $5,000 Alec Kessler Student-Athlete Scholarship.
