7 Coconut Creek Football Players Commit to Same University

Coconut Creek High School has had an incredible football run and will send seven players to Bethune Cookman University. 

Eirik Simmons had a terrific year for Coconut Creek and finished as the team-leading receiver while the team went 10-3 and reached the Regional Final. Semaj Wallace also shined as a receiver this year, finishing fourth on the team in yards, while Raymond Jackson played on defense.

The Cougars allowed eight points or less in seven victories while pitching two shutouts. Travis Thompson, Martin Montero Jr., Isiah Hope and Kael Aceus also committed as well as the the Wildcats are coming off a season where they went 3-8 and had victories over Savannah State, Mississippi Valley, and Alabama A&M. 

Coconut Creek already has three other committed players. Hyjaeh Miller picked Toledo University and also shined on defense. They also had a terrific season, going 11-2, and will play in the Arizona Bowl on December 30 against Wyoming. 

Damanie Wilson is also committed to Georgia State University, while Elijah Cannon picked Florida Atlantic University. Jamarie Hostzclaw also committed to Alabama State University during the regular season after his incredible year as a running back.
