Don’t let worry take away your holiday joy — the Broward Sheriff’s Office has your back.

BSO’s Parkland District is offering a service for anyone concerned about their packages’ safety during the holiday season.

Operation Front Porch ensures residents’ gift deliveries are secure by shipping them to the Parkland district BSO instead of their homes, which will keep packages safe until they can be picked up.

This free service is available to Parkland residents from now through December 22, 2020, to allow them to enjoy the holiday season without worry.

BSO Captain Mulligan said Operation Front Porch is a great way for residents to safeguard the delivery of holiday packages.

Boxes must be less than 50 pounds and should be shipped to [Recipient Name] c/o Broward Sheriff’s Office Parkland District Office, 6650 North University Drive, Parkland, FL 33067.

Residents can pick up their packages Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. They should bring their order receipt or proof of package shipment and a government-issued identification card showing the name of the package recipient.

People must pick-up their own packages unless they are for children, in which case parents must provide proof of guardianship or child identification.

To utilize the service, fill out this form and email it to Parkland@sheriff.org.
