Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through February 27.
Fraud – Other
A 49-year-old male was the victim of Fraud – Other on San Mellina Drive. The fraud was reported on 02/25/2023. The total estimated loss was $6,000. The victim claims an unknown charge on his credit report.
Fraud – Identity Theft
A 66-year-old male was the victim of Fraud – Identity Theft on Lyons Road. The theft was reported on 02/21/2023. The victim said an unauthorized subject used his personal information in Las Vegas. The total estimated loss was $2,752.
Auto Parts/Accessories
A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories on Lyons Technology Parkway. The landscape truck’s catalytic converters were stolen and reported on 02/21/2023. The total estimated loss was $3,500.
Domestic Disturbance
A Domestic Disturbance at 5400 Johnson Road at Tradewinds Elementary was reported on 02/22/2023. A Kindergarten student was heard threatening to kill his father because he was upset about restrictions he was given to play on his iPad.
Theft – Retail/Shoplifting
Kohls was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting at 6950 N State Road 7. The theft was reported on 02/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,250.
CVS Pharmacy was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting at 4550 Lyons Road. The theft was reported on 02/25/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,920.
Publix was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting at 4760 W Hillsboro Blvd. The theft was reported on 02/21/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,891.
CVS Pharmacy was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting at 4550 Lyons Road. The theft was reported on 02/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,705.
Arrests
Moreno, Margaret, 44, was arrested on a Drive While License Suspended Third Or Subsq Offense charge at 3600 Atlantic Blvd on 02/23/2023.
Fertil Lisa Rosemond, 31, was arrested on a charge of DL Suspended at 1300 Banks Road on 02/23/2023.
Burgosmoreira, Javier Rolando, 37, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Assault W/ Deadly Weapon Without Intent To Kill at 3620 W Hillsboro Blvd on 02/24/2023.
Gomez, Monica Laura, 34, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 1st Offense at 4425 Lyons Road on 02/25/2023.
Dennis, Taneka Walls, 37, was arrested on a charge of Trespassing-Entry On Property Unlawfully at 4600 Coconut Creek Parkway on 02/25/2023.
Moseley, Leland, 57. was arrested on a charge of Grand Theft>$750<$5000 at 4550 Lyons Road on 02/25/2023.
Longfellow Antoine Jordan, 24, was arrested on a charge of Petit Theft 1st Degree Property $100 To < $750 at 4449 Lyons Road on 02/26/2023.
