Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through April 8, 2024.
Theft
A victim of Theft—Auto Parts/Accessories at Coco Parc on Lyons Road—was reported on 04/04/2024. Four rims and tires were stolen, causing a total estimated loss of $4,000.
A victim of Theft – All Other at Sabal Pines Park on NW 39 Avenue was reported on 04/06/2024. The total estimated loss was $3,144. The Theft of a Cricket Pitching Machine by an unknown suspect was reported.
Sunglass Hut was a Theft – Retail/Shoplifting victim on Lyons Road, reported on 04/06/2024. The total estimated loss was $2,647.
A victim of Theft – From Building at U-Haul on Johnson Road was reported on 04/05/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,110. Items were taken from a storage unit.
A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Regency Lakes on Eagle Cay Way was reported on 04/07/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,100. A firearm was stolen from the vehicle.
A victim of Theft – From Building at Planet Fitness on W Hillsboro Blvd was reported on 04/03/2024. The total estimated loss was $200.
Cheesecake Factory was a victim of Theft—All Other on Lyons Road, which was reported on 04/05/2024. The total estimated loss was $100.
Walgreens was a victim of Theft—retail/Shoplifting on Coconut Creek Parkway on 04/02/2024. The total estimated loss was $29.98. Theft of Tide was reported.
A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Residence Inn on N State Road 7 was reported on 04/03/2024.
Indecent Exposure/Lewd Lascivious
A victim of Indecent Exposure/Lewd Lascivious Act at Wynmoor, a masturbator was reported on 04/02/2024.
Stalking
A victim of Simple Stalking at Broward College on Coconut Creek Blvd was reported on 04/02/2024.
Fraud
A victim of Fraud – Other at Wynmoor on Antigua Terrace was reported on 04/03/2024. The victim was scammed for $12,300.
Battery
A victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike at South Creek on NW 45 Avenue was reported on 04/04/2024—alleged battery between parents after drop off.
Burglary
A victim of Burglary – Residence at Regency Lakes on Eagle Cay Way was reported on 04/04/2024. The total estimated loss was $800.
Suspicious Death
A victim of Death – Suspicious/Unknown at South Creek on NW 7 Street was reported on 04/06/2024.
Arrests
Argota, Rafael, 58, was arrested on a charge of Exposure Of Sexual Organs 1 Offense on 04/02/2024.
Wilson, Phillip Marcus, 24, was arrested on a charge of Pornography/Obscene Material at 4217 Carambola Circle S on 04/03/2024.
Schneider, Samantha Alyn, 37, was arrested on a charge of Grand Theft Auto at 1400 Lyons Road on 04/05/2024.
House, Burlaigh Ralph, 61, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 1 at 2400 Lyons Road on 04/06/2024.
Peoples, Cameron Quinclly, 28, was arrested on a charge of Criminal Mischief – $200 Or Less 1 Offense at 1000 Coconut Creek Blvd on 04/05/2024.
Pierre, Kingson J., 32, was arrested on a charge of Nonsupport Of Parent at 1100 Coconut Creek Blvd on 04/05/2024.
