Fraud
A Fraud-with/Computer/ATM victim on Antigua Circle was reported on 02/20/2024. The total estimated loss was $7,171. A Coinbase cryptocurrency account was hacked, and over $7,200 was stolen.
A victim of Fraud – Wire/Computer/ATM on Coconut Creek Parkway was reported on 02/20/2024. The total estimated loss was $500.
A victim of Fraud – Other at Wynmoor was reported on 02/22/2024. Prepaid card fraud was reported.
Animal Complaint
A victim of Animal Complaint – Other on NW 69 Court was reported on 02/20/2024.
Theft
A victim of Theft From a Motor Vehicle (Multiple) on N State Road 7 was reported on 02/24/2024. The total estimated loss was $10,280. Public Storage had multiple trailers broken into, and equipment was stolen.
A victim of Theft – From a Building at Tallwood on NW 67 Street was reported on 02/25/2024. The total estimated loss was $3,200.
A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Fern Forest on S Lyons Road was reported on 02/25/2024. The total estimated loss was $592.
A victim of Theft – All Other at Tradewinds Park on 3600 W Sample Road was reported on 02/24/2024. The total estimated loss was $420.
A victim of Theft – From a Building at Wynmoor on Antigua Circle by a known subject was reported on 02/20/2024. The total estimated loss was $325.
A victim of Theft – All Other at Applewood Village IV was reported on 02/23/2024. The total estimated loss was $100. A Kohl’s package was stolen.
A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Center Point on NW 49 Terrace was reported on 02/21/2024.
A victim of Theft – From a Building on NW 44 Avenue was reported on 02/22/2024.
Disturbance
A victim of a Disturbance – Other on Johnson Road was reported on 02/23/2024. A Tradewinds Elementary teacher reported an intellectually impaired kindergarten student was observed on Tik-Tok videos with his mother being guided to curse and lip-sync a song with cursing.
Battery
A victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike at Buttonwood Hammocks was reported on 02/23/2024. Battery on Person 65YOA or older was reported.
A victim of Aggravated Battery at Country Lakes Mobile Home Park was reported on 02/23/2024.
Arrests
Macri, Donald, Richard, 42, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 2 Offense at 4000 Wiles Road on 02/20/2024.
Cartagena, Ternell, Dejuan, 22, was arrested on a charge of Sexual Battery Victim 12 Years Less 18 Years By Person 18 Years Or More at 5430 Lyons Road on 02/21/2024.
Gutches, Justin, Daniel, 24, was arrested on a Battery On Person 65 Years Of Age Or Older charge at 2005 NW 49 Avenue on 02/23/2024.
Irizarry, Oscar, 51, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery charge at 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway on 02/24/2024.
